Medicare Advantage plans in Denton County, Texas

For 2027, 67 Medicare Advantage plans are offered in Denton County, 9 fewer than in 2026. 32 of them are open to anyone with Medicare Part A and Part B who lives in the county. The other 35 are Special Needs Plans, which only people who qualify can join.

What these numbers mean for you

• HMO or PPO. HMO plans usually ask you to use doctors in the plan's network. PPO plans also pay something toward doctors outside it, usually at a higher cost.

• Special Needs Plans. These are built for people with Medicaid, certain chronic conditions, or who live in a nursing home. You can join one only if you qualify.
